We are so proud of being named WMI’s Consultant of the Month for March, and will be forever thankful to Michael Hamburger for introducing us to the Wealth Masters International Business.
After arriving from the UK to Australia in 1981 with $2,000 to our name, we initially worked for other people for two years, Sue in the Hair and Beauty Industry and Jerry in the Printing Industry. It soon became apparent that the real money was being made by the business owners, not us as employees.
Sue started her own Hair, Nail and Beauty Salon and I started up a Graphic Art Studio. Those businesses were very successful for over twenty years. During that time we had four beautiful children, and it was then that we realized we needed a new direction so we could spend more time with them and each other . . . what’s the point of having kids only to put them in childcare?
This began our journey in the MLM world. During the next six years we achieved a significant level in that industry, but soon found out that the attrition rate was too hard to keep up with and therefore the money was not what we would expect for our return on investment. The upside was we sharpened our people skills and learned to just get into action.
Then we had the great fortune to find the Direct Selling Style Home Based Business Industry, where we saw the opportunity, and even though we did not understand everything at first, we just started marketing and in our 4th month made more than most people made in a year! This continued for the next two years, until that company moved the goal posts.
The good thing for us is that we didn’t sit around and moan about what could have been, instead we started looking for what was out there in the Home Business World. Wealth Masters International had everything we were looking for, not only for us, but also where we could help others achieve Health, Wealth and Financial Wisdom. We realized we could not only earn a substantial income from the business, but also utilize that money to grow from all the strategies we were being exposed to. This was something that was lacking in our previous businesses.
We can’t wait to meet everyone at the next m² in Florida!
