When Karl and I founded WMI in January 2005 it was with one intention in mind; to educate and prepare our Members with the “real life” knowledge that they need in order to manifest true wealth. Our definition of wealth has always been “abundance”. An abundance of money….an abundance of great health…and an abundance of wisdom through personal growth and development.
In 2005 we began preparing our Members for the coming economic calamity, brought on by unmanageable debt levels at all levels; globally, governmental, corporate and personal debt. Our recommendations were to avoid falling victim to the cancer that is debt, to avoid real estate (as an investment), to avoid an overpriced stock market, and most importantly, to learn the truth about how money works.
Over the last 5 years we have witnessed the beginning of the deleveraging process. We first saw it in the failures of major Wall Street and International investment and banking firms, followed by the subprime crisis and accompanying toxic debt instruments that destroyed home prices and investment portfolios around the globe with alarming speed.
